Taylor is a Senior at Monticello High School! She is a waitress at Three Ravens in Monticello along with helping in the studio with wedding photography. In her free time she loves hanging out with friends and attending school football games. This photo was taken in a very unique hotel in South Beach, Miami called The Mondrian. The light shinning in from the windows was perfect for portrait taking on this day.
This was the last engagement session in 2010! It was a cold afternoon on the University of Illinois Quad in Champaign/Urbana. Meet Bree and Josh, a fun, professional couple planning a wedding for October 8, 2011. The reception will be at my favorite location… Memorial Stadium in Urbana. Thanks for a great afternoon, I’m looking forward to your big day! See more of Bree & Josh at http://www.tureskis.com/index.php?splash=1
On a Saturday in July with a 105 Heat Index, we arrived a Robert Allerton Park in Monticello for the wedding of Christine & Paul. Allerton is the most unique location in central Illinois for a outdoor wedding. Beautiful gardens, sculptures and the Allerton House were the background for portraits and the ceremony. The reception was held at Kennedy’s at Stone Creek Golf Course where everyone enjoyed a great meal, drinks and dancing. Thanks!
On a rather warm July afternoon, Andrea & Brent began their day at the University of Illinois’ Memorial Field. These Illini fans with their family and friends chose to do portraits on the field and around the Stadium. The ceremony was at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Champaign with the reception at the Colonnades Club. This location is my favorite in Central Illinois. GO ILLINI!
Run for the Roses
Amanda & Cory Tied the knot on a hot June Saturday in Urbana Illinois. We started off with Portraits on the University of Illinois Quad. Family and Bridal Party were present with beverages in hand. The ceremony was at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Urbana and the reception at Kennedy’s at Stone Creek Golf Course. Congrats!!
I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Laura Senger & Sean Horton this past Saturday. The wedding was at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Springfield Illinois and the reception followed at the Beach House on Lake Springfield.
The day started perfectly overcast but it began to rain just as we started the portraits at Washington Park. No one cried or complained as we began to create some beautiful images of the bride & groom that included family and friends.
The rain stopped just as the ceremony began as a perfect afternoon unfolded. Music, Food, Dancing, Laughter, Drinks and Family made for a day to always remember. Thanks Laura & Sean!
